Maimoon
Palace
Maimoon Palace was built by the sultan of Deli in
1888 and features Malay. Here you can check out a modest collection of
ceremonial kerises and dress up in traditional Malay costume. The back wing of
the palace is occupied by members of the sultan’s family. The current sultan,
Aria Mahmud Lamanjiji, was only eight years old when he was installed as the
14th Sultan of Deli in 2005, replacing his father, who died in a plane crash.
He is the youngest sultan in Deli history. He currently resides in Sulawesi
with his mother, and his role is purely ceremonial. Maimoon Palace is located
at Jalan Brig. Jend. Katamso in downtown Medan. This historic building is open
the public every day, except when there are organizing a special ceremony.
Asam Kumbang Crocodile Park
Asam Kumbang Crocodile Park is the largest
crocodile breeding park in Indonesia. The park which has an area of two
hectares is even becoming the largest crocodile park in Southeast Asia. Built
since 1959, Asam Kumbang park has collections of many types of crocodiles,
start from the youngest one to over forty years old. Although it filled with
many beasts, this place is very safe because they are placed in ponds and an
artificial lake that has been designed safely. The price of admission entrance
isRp. 5,000.
Located at Jalan Bunga Raya No. 59, Medan Selayang
subdistrict, Asam Kumbang village, or five kilometers from the center of Medan,
this Crocodile Park was ffirst taken from a hobby from Tham Lo Muk, local
residents in 1959 who loves reptiles. Currently, the food requirements of the
crocodiles that spend is at least a ton of duck or chicken.

Rahmat International Wildlife Museum &
Gallery is a natural history museum in Medan, Indonesia.
The museum displays various collections of wildlife from the smallest to the
largest according to the habitat.[1]
After the development was completed in October 2007, the Museum & Gallery

Toba Lake
Danau Toba or Toba Lake is one of the most popular
destinations in Indonesia, especially in Medan, North Sumatra. Danau Toba is
the largest volcanic lake in Indonesia, even in the Southeast Asia. Which make
it more special is taken from the Samosir Island, an Island that settled in the
middle of the lake. Lake Toba is an area of 1,707 km², we can say that this is
1,000 km² bigger than Singapore. It formed by a gigantic volcanic eruption some
70,000 years ago, it is probably the largest resurgent caldera on Earth.
Sipiso Piso Waterfall
Sipiso-piso waterfall, ('like a knife') 120m
high is 45 Kilometers from Berastagi at the northern
end of Lake Toba.
The water fall is formed by a small underground river of the Karo Plateau and
flows out into the Lake Toba caldera. To get to Sipiso-Piso falls catch a local
mini-bus from Berastagi to Kabanjahe Rp. 3000 At the bus terminal in Kabanjahe
catch any bus going to Siantar and ask to get off at Sipiso-Piso. From the main
road the falls are 2.5km from the main road. There are becak drivers waiting at
the turnoff and will cost Rp. 5000 to go to the falls. Entrance to the falls is
Rp. 2000.

Sorake Beach is
one of popular beaches in Nias with big and high wave. This condition becomes a
perfect spot for those who love surfing. For domestic tourist, probably Sorake
Beach is a strange name. But, for professional surfer, this beach likes a
